Individual Therapy
This counseling consists of one on one sessions aiming at improving your quality of life by using a collaborative process.
It allows you to explore your challenges, experiences and relationships within a safe and confidential container by identifying your goals and desires, process emotions, and practice coping mechanisms.
The Place of Trust in Therapy
Trust is the foundation of effective therapy. It creates a safe space where you can express yourself freely, explore your challenges, and embrace change at your own pace.
It is important to find a therapist with whom you feel safe, and in trust.
In our sessions, I prioritize a supportive and non-judgmental environment, ensuring that you feel heard, respected, and in control of your journey.
How individual therapy can help you:
-
Anxiety & Stress
Reduce overthinking, manage worries, and find calm.
-
Depression & Low Mood
Overcome sadness, rebuild self-worth, and regain motivation.
-
Trauma & PTSD
Heal safely, reduce emotional triggers, and regain control.
-
Low Self-Esteem
Shift negative self-perceptions and build confidence.
-
Emotional Overwhelm
Regulate intense emotions and improve communication.
-
Boundary Setting & Relationships
Develop healthy communication and say “no” without guilt.

Therapy helps you move forward with clarity, confidence, and resilience.
Hypnotherapy
I use the hypnosis PTR, developed by Gérald Brassine at Milton H. Erickson Institute of Belgium.
Reassociative Trauma Therapy (PTR) and Its Key Tool: Strategic Conversational Hypnosis
What is Reassociative Trauma Therapy?
Reassociative Trauma Therapy (PTR), also known as PTR hypnosis, is an innovative, result-oriented brief therapy approach. It integrates with major modern psychological methods and aims to help release suffering related to past or present traumatic experiences.
If you have already tried other forms of psychotherapy, such as EMDR, without achieving the desired results, PTR may offer an effective and gentle alternative or a valuable complement to help you break free from what is holding you back.
What Makes PTR Hypnosis Unique?
-
Hypnosis often raises questions, particularly due to the misconception that it involves a loss of control. However, with PTR strategic conversational hypnosis, you remain fully aware and in control throughout the session. Unlike other forms of hypnosis, this method allows you to actively participate in the process of transformation and emotional relief, without needing to reach a particular state.
Whatever you experience during the session is considered the right direction for you. In fact, you are encouraged to voice your thoughts and even contradict your therapist if necessary, as this collaboration is key to effective therapy.
-
Unlike some approaches where the patient plays a more passive role—such as in traditional psychotherapy or classical Ericksonian hypnosis—PTR actively engages you. By responding to questions and describing your inner experiences, you take an active part in transforming your traumatic memories.
-
Many psychotherapeutic methods require reliving painful memories. In contrast, PTR relies on dissociative protection mechanisms to minimize the risk of traumatic re-experiencing.
These dissociative protections (such as emotional numbness, depersonalization, the sensation of "inventing" things, or perceiving memories as blurry or distant) are often seen as resistances in other therapies. In PTR, however, they are recognized as natural brain mechanisms designed to protect you. Rather than treating them as obstacles, we use them as therapeutic tools to ensure a safe and soothing process without the risk of re-traumatization.
👉 If you would like to learn more about this, I invite you to read an article by Gérald Brassine, the creator of PTR and director of the Milton H. Erickson Institute of Belgium, where I trained. It is available in French and English (link to the article https://www.imheb.be/news/publications/protections-dissociatives-anesthesiants-pour-lhypnotherapie-du-trauma/)
-
The goal of PTR hypnosis is not to erase past events but to transform the images and sensations that continue to cause suffering, whether consciously or unconsciously. Like in some psychological and hypnotherapy practices, we use imagination to create a new, healing scenario.
Since the brain does not distinguish between imagination and reality, this transformation generates a new internal experience, leading to lasting emotional relief.
-
Every PTR session is fully customized. We begin with a pleasant induction, similar to gentle conversational hypnosis, and then follow the natural flow of associations that lead to therapeutic transformation.
You remain completely free to accept or decline my suggestions. Your unconscious mind knows what you need to heal, and we work together at your own pace.

FAQ
-
Not really, unless you are particularly suggestible or vulnerable. This is why it’s essential to choose a compassionate therapist who won’t try to dominate you.
A good hypnotherapist will always leave you in control and clearly explain what hypnosis is.
The hypnotic state is a natural phenomenon that occurs spontaneously and frequently throughout the day for everyone. We use and amplify this state to access resources beyond your conscious awareness.
-
Not at all. You might simply feel “slightly slowed down” for a few minutes, much like after a short afternoon nap.
-
Not at all. The effectiveness of the session remains the same. After just a few minutes, you’ll likely forget that we are meeting via video. We will see each other on screen, and I won’t miss anything you say—or even what you express through your body language.
To ensure good sound quality, it’s best to use headphones. As with an in-person session, make sure you’re in a quiet place where you won’t be interrupted.
-
Everyone is hypnotizable because hypnosis is a natural neurological and biological process. However, the success of the session will depend heavily on your cooperation and motivation to change.
My role is to help you feel comfortable and build trust. Once that trust is established, you’ll be able to access your unconscious resources through the trance state.
-
Quite the opposite. My work is based on collaboration with your conscious and unconscious strengths, in a framework of respect and kindness.
In certain situations, especially in cases of trauma (such as abuse), I take extra precautions by inviting your unconscious to resist me. This ensures that you feel fully in control and that you never lose that control at any point.
-
Yes, online hypnosis is just as effective as in-person sessions from a therapeutic perspective, as long as the conditions are right. To create optimal conditions, it’s important to ensure you are in a quiet place with no interruptions. You’ll also need a camera, a functional microphone, and a good internet connection. I also recommend using headphones or earbuds for an even better auditory experience.
After that, it’s a matter of personal preference. Some people prefer the physical proximity of in-person sessions and the experience of going to a different location. Others enjoy the comfort of staying at home and avoiding travel. Online hypnosis can even be an advantage in cases of social anxiety, physical exhaustion, difficulty leaving the house, or geographical isolation.

I ask that you let me know at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule a session. If I do not receive a notification by email, text, or phone call at least 24 hours in advance, I will charge you the full session fee.
This allows me to ensure that all my clients, both current and new, have as many opportunities as possible to book a session, while also supporting the sustainability of my practice.
How It Works
1 Book your first consultation
The first will last 1H30. We'll explore your situation and goals, discuss how I work, and practice a tailored technique like hypnosis, EFT, or breathing exercises.
2 Continue with ongoing sessions
We’ll meet about every two weeks, adjusting our approach as new goals emerge. Each 1-hour session will be tailored to your needs, based on your strengths and feedback.
3 Reach your goals
We may end the meetings after reaching your goals or continue with a longer gap between sessions, if your goals and needs have evolved.
You will also receive a follow-up with practices between sessions.
